Centerforce question

wellheres what i did i just called my builder hes going to be putting the stock clutch back into it...and i'll save for the upgrade thanks for all your help.....i didn't know that there were so many ways and really not that many good clutch set ups for our trucks sounds like i might be going with a stock clutch with the slave upgrade
Read the centerforce review in the diy section, he installed it with the stock slave and it cracked the next day...

I found the stock slave and master to be unacceptable for full power shifting. If you shift like granny then the stock setup will be just fine....but at 6000 rpm full power shift it will hang up every other time. I wiped out the Centerforce and I'm not on nitrous...I would try the Spec or maybe the Street twin Mcleod.

Huh? You must have me mixed up with someone else. I still have the original 6 speed in my 2004 RC and it has 41,000 plus miles with no repairs. I have replaced the Centerforce twice, each time after about 15,000 miles and several trips down the 1/4 mile. No , I have not replaced 6 transmissions....mine is just fine.:dontknow:
