Installed the clutch flywheel combo with new Viper master and slave roughly 700 miles ago. Started noticing several weeks ago that I was having trouble shifting--seemed to be missing the gates or having a hard time getting into gear. I have a Gen IV shifter that I had not had previous problems with but thought it might be the shifter so I took the Gen IV out and put the stock Hurst back in. Felt much better immediately so I drove for a couple of miles with no problem and assumed it was a problem with Boomer's shifter. Today I drove the truck for about an hour to see friends and found that after the truck heated up I started once again to have problems hitting the gates both upshifting and downshifting. I sent the sifter back to Boomer to check out but I suspect that something else is happening after the clutch/flywheel heats up. Could this have something to do with the master and slave? Need your thoughts ,this is getting frustrating and the truck is just not fun to drive.
