I went to the Calgary Auto Show today. I finally got to see the Camero and new Mustang up close. I will start by saying the Challenger SRT8 had the largest number of people around it, while I was there. The outside of the Camero looks alright, but the dash looks cheap. I can go for the retro look, but the materials are just a miss with me. The Mustang's front end looks better in person than in photo's, but the new rear end looks out of place. More people were looking at a Shelby GT500KR, than the new Mustang. The Shelby looked great.

So in the end, I would still take the Challenger over the others. The Camero will out sell it by far, the Mustang will cost less, but it is still a Challenger!!

Great input oldcolt, I saw pics of the camaro's interior and you have confirmed first impressions.

How was the rest of the car show? We don't have a great one here in Winnipeg...

The show was very good. The Nissan GTR is alot bigger car than I thought it was. It was next to the new 370Z (very nice). Audi had the R8, which had a big crowd. The Aston's were fantastic.
The Viper was getting more attention than the ZR1.
The lame duck of the show??? Ford/Mazda still trying to flog the Ranger/B-Series pick-up. They just look so dated.
My kids liked the Nissan Cube, it was, well, a cube!!. :) :)

i'm not a fan of the "new" mustang...don't like the looks of the grille/front end.
