way too much, they're making way too many of them to command a 15k markup.

Keep in mind there will be V6 versions as well, further diminishing the value. They just won't have the rarity or wow factor in a few months.

Remember the tag on the 10's when they came out? From 51k-58k. So its right there....

Yes, but a report that came out in one of the MOPAR mags was that you could order them online at MSAP which for the SRT-8 model was going for 39,000.

Oh no, only one hour and 6 mins left... Bloody loser...

and relly not that fast. Mopar needs to get rid of some weight.

doesnt help they are fugly!!! sorry guys, but these cars are just way overrated.

They are a great mix from the ol' scat back days with todays technology. I personally love them. I wonder if theyre retail value is going to drop like they have on our 10's?

I just read one review that says the ford mustang gt will hang in every aspect with the challenger and that the GT 500 will blow it away . Sorry guys I love the viper but in all other cars, dodge is way behind in performance.

I'd wait for an '09 (and get the 6-speed) and no way would I even pay sticker. SRT/Ms/Rs/AMGs/etc. are crashing in value because their performance comes at the expense of horrific gas mileage, which, is NOW a huge issue. I could give a fuck what MPG it does get, but anyone paying that kind of premium needs that Chally to go with their Enzyte, Viagra and Minoxidil prescriptions...

Then again "that kind of money" is pocket change to some people, who look at the difference between $39K and $55K the way I look at the difference between $39 and $55...and I can talk myself into spending the extra $16 if I want it bad enough...

Don't think Dodge is behind in the SUV market (go fast version)

4.8 seconds to 60 and on through the quarter in 13.3 seconds at 108 mph.
is what the challenger will do. That is what our trucks will do. I do agree about the jeep.

dont get me wrong, I like the car. But I think for the srt model they should have put out a car that will put alot of ponys to the ground. Really 425 horses to the crank is not alot in todays muscle car world,, and with a heavy heavy heavy car

What short memories! Have we forgotten how Dodge/Chrysler or whoever they are now does not take care of their customers when it comes to warranty issues

I will personally never own another Chrysler product unless major changes are made in their dealerships, warranties and customer service because it's not IF, it's WHEN you have a problem you will probably n ot get taken care of

But then, as with many other companies out there, they will probably be bankrupt soon anyways :( :( :(

I LOVE MY V.W.
