“Americans are beginning to notice Obama’s elevated opinion of himself. There’s nothing new about narcissism in politics. Every senator looks in the mirror and sees a president.
Nonetheless, has there ever been a presidential nominee with a wider gap between his estimation of himself and the sum total of his lifetime achievements?
Obama is a three-year senator without a single important legislative achievement to his name,
a former Illinois state senator who voted ‘present’ nearly 130 times.
As president of the Harvard Law Review, as law professor and as legislator, has he ever produced a single notable piece of scholarship?
Written a single memorable article? His most memorable work is a biography of his favorite subject: himself.
It is a subject upon which he can dilate effortlessly.
In his victory speech upon winning the nomination, Obama declared it a great turning point in history—’generations from now we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment’ —when, among other wonders, ‘the rise of the oceans began to slow.’
As economist Irwin Stelzer noted in his London Daily Telegraph column, ‘Moses made the waters recede, but he had help.’
Obama apparently works alone.†—Charles Krauthammer

Thats a great great post Super,Hopefully people will sit up and take notice of him ,the emperior wares no clothes.

The "Emperor/clothes" analogy was used on me recently, so I'm not as enamored with it as I might (normally) be.

But Charlie Krauthammer is one of our great thinkers and conservative minds. He is right up there with Bill (RIP) Buckley in the brains department..... without the Buckley glimmer and panache. But Charles continues to represent those of us on the right with brains, heart and alot of insight.

Not bad for a crip............. God bless him....

Obama is a prop......... a cardboard stand up and a career fkn politician.

Fie upon him.

The idea that Obama thinks he is somewhat of a Messiah is not new. I listen to Rush pretty much everyday for a half hour @ lunch. That's about as much as I can take of that egomaniac. But on a daily basis, this subject comes up on the show. I agree that Obama has an elevated view of himself based upon his speeches. What bothers me is that for the most part, the masses are not picking up on it or paying enough attention to what is going on. Mike Savage has been saying that liberalism is a psychological disorder. That being said, it seems like half our country may need medication. The other half is already on it. ;)

Good post. Why are so few seeing through the Obama veil? Oops, is that a Muslim remark?

I think the fear about Obama is about 90% just that, fear of the unknown.

The disinformation that exists is much the same as the "Swift Boat" issues of the past (all proved to be just negative B.S., but effective in swaying public opinion).

As I have said before, I don't care for either candidate in this election. So once again it will be a choice of the lesser of 2 evils.

Bill.

The reason about half our population can't see through the Left's BS, is because they are hopelessly stupid air wasters.

Case in point; at a dinner the conversation turned to the presidential race and
one lady was all for Obama. A friend Dale asked her to just relax and use her
imagination for a moment. He said to pretend that there was no such thing as
democrats or republicans and everyone ran for office based on their own merit. He then asked her to pretend that she had a crystal ball which gave
her the message that if the most qualified candidate was not elected, the
United States would be destroyed within four years, who would she vote for.
She answered "McCain of course"!
Well the people present with two or more functional brain cells thought finally
someone had figured out how to get these morons to see the light, but
HELL NO, she just wrinkled up, said he had tricked her, was a smart ass, and was still going to vote for Obama.

Moral: the only way to fix stupid is to kill them!:p :D :p
