I have been working with a friend on a circuit to resolve the lamp out and/or be able to supply the power to HIDs.

These will work particulary well on 06's where the voltage at the headlamp is only 11.7 volts.. not enough to fire the ballast on the HIDs.

They will consist of 4 solid state components...

a relay, a resistor, a zener diode, and a relay plug.

They are designed to handle >2x power... so will handle around 20amps or so.

Each truck would be one per light (total of 4, for headlamps, and driving lamps)

Cost is setting right around - $8 each to build them... but since I would need to make a little money on them... I would sell a pair of them for around $20-25.

Keeping in mind that these are not shelved items or stocked, each order would be build on request... :D

It is still in the prototype stages... I need to find someone with a 05 and 04 truck to test them on and see if the lamp out problem would go away...
