Clutch/ Trans went to Sh#!T

Well guys I have bad news (I think) I was driving home tonight after making a run to Murfeesboro TN, was getting off the interstate and notice I was having trouble putting it into 1st gear. Well I stopped at the light and went to take of and my clutch or trans or something chattered god awful. I am not sure what it is. the clutch and master/slave cyl. are the upgraded ones. I hope it is something simple but my luck is its not. I on'y have 1200 miles on the new clutch setup. I am worried that tomorrow i will get the call............its your trans....so I am going to throw a few back and drowned my sorrows. I will let ya'll know tomorrow.

were you the guy who only did a 120 mile new clutch break-in before you dropped the hammer or was that someone else ?

It was haulin asp. Hope it is nothing serious and it is just the clutch. Still sucks to let the smoke out of a new clutch.

Nope i took mine down town Chattanooga and broke it in the first time i got on it I had 516 on the new clutch. I didn't even drop it I was messing around with ROZ and broke the shifter bolt. I hope its the clutch!!!!

No Larry Its not my daily driver so I am still coming up there. Call me tomorrow evening and we will set a time and place. those seats should fit in an expidition right???

They should fit fine....you may need to fold the back seats down though....I will call you tomorrow..

if it is your tranny and your warranty is out have it repaired.

last i talked to him is that his tranny is fine and they guarantee it up to 650hp

Well no update on the problem but I did get some good news last night. I called the warranty place and it is covered if its the Trans. The clutch nope I just can't see it being the clutch. its brand new:dontknow: . But hey me and Mr. Royal kicked back and drowned the sorrows. I am going to go to the shop this afternoon and I'll take some pics.

It was me and it was @ 146 miles on a suggested 150 mile break in. I now have almost 2000 miles on the Southbend Stage 3 and NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER!

Well got the news today its the Tranny. The bearings are ate up. I called the warranty people and they are going to send the adjuster out. Keep your fingures crossed for me. i will get some pics tomorrow.
