can you check to see if the front coil springs for a 96 to 2001 desiel 2500 2wd are the same as ones for a 8.0 v10 2500 2wd ,,

i was given a new set from a deiesl 99 2500 ,,and since im doing the ball joints and these springs are brand new i thought i would us them ,,,thanks

there should be a tag on the new springs with a number.. that would help out a lot if you had it...

edit.. there are 23 different springs I either need the vins for both vehicles or the tag numbers

Tag on springs is 52039074,,,the truck they might go on vin # is

They are different but they will probably work.

is there any way i can find out what rearend i have in this ,,or what was sold in it ,,,i think the gears are 3.55,s and has a posi loc in it but not sure thanks
