Come for a ride!!

Congrats on the new PB. Great runs! What was the temp and DA? Might want to check your spider gears, I remember when mine broke I was down about 20rwhp across the range and was about 2 mph slower.

The DA on the 11.76 was -250. When your spiders broke was your truck still hooking up? The spiders would make sense, last Saturday I went to the track and it started wanting to only spin one tire during the burnout.

When my spider gears were broken, I didn't know it. I raced a couple of times and noticed the speed was down (I had been doing the burnout by stabbing the brakes). I don't really remember a difference in the launch, I couldn't see if only one tire was spinning. I went to DC Performance thinking something was off on the tune. Chris Jensen showed me on the dyno chart where the hp was down about 20hp across the range. He said it was not a tuning issue but a drag somewhere. We started by draining the differential fluid, found chunks of spider gears, so we refilled it (the differential) and I drove home (100 miles) to get the spider gears fixed. Thats when I ordered the chryoed and polished spider gears and a Hurst Line Lock.

Good run buddy.

That track seems like they need more light  Kinda dark

Spiders aren't broken but there is something wrong with the passenger side clutch pack for the limited slip, and the right front brake caliper is dragging slightly. Looks like I'm done for the year:( I'll rebuild the calipers and the rear end hopefully in time to run in feb/march. While its down I'm gonna go through the whole thing front to back and just check things that may need attention

You're kidding...Right? Watch the in cab video...he launches at 5,000 rpm...you can't do that on street tires and run in the 11's!

Maybe I'll do an in cab video of a 5000 RPM launch with street tires for comparison. :D

Looks like the cam and heads may "need attention". You should replace them.
