ok i have this laptop that is my dads ,,he wanted to install windows vista ,,i told him i dont think it was a great idea cause it is about 3 years old ,,,so like always he did not listen to me and installed vista any way ,,now half his stuff wont work now modem and such ,,,My question is how hard will it be to uninstall it back to XP ,,,

Shouldn't be hard at all. Back up all of his personal files and reboot the computer with the XP disk in the drive and re-install XP.

Do a system restore to right before he installed Vista.

i dont think vista sucks so bad i do have an alienware area 51 laptop i use with vista but his is just too old to handle it lol,,just like he is hahah
