Norton keeps giving me a pop up that says ,,,A recent attacked was attempted and blocked on my computer,,,.... This is happening every 3 minutes for hours now... have run all the virus , malware,spyware, Windows defender that I have.... When I look at the log it shows;
Risk NAME---- HTTP Nukesploit P4ck Activity
Severity ---High
Destination Address---bestserverside.com
TCP, Port # which changes everytime I get the pop up.

What is happening???? Is this someone constantly trying to access my computer ??? How do I get rid of this????

Have you tried

Malwarebytes

&

Superantispyware

???

Open in safe mode by tapping F8 on startup I would try openin safe mode with networking to download these programs if you don't have them. If you do have them run normal safe mode. I use McAfee and never seen this attack before. If this doesn't work save all your important stuffto external hard drive and reload windows.

Yes, I have both and malwarebytes found malware and Quarenteened and deleted it:) ----It appears this nukesploit only affects IE6 from what I read ..I have IE8 installed... I only use IE for business ---other than that I use google chrome.... I am on IE at the moment and the popup has not come up ---hopefully it has been taken care of:elefant: .....I still have no idea where the maleware came from...:mad:

I have heard rumors that Norton when it expires causes big problems this is why I don't use it may just be rumors but when i clicked on those 4 links previously post the common thing I saw was IE6 and Norton antivirus. If your subscriptions is close to expire try another brands antivirus software.

Read the bottom comment and see if that helps. You should be able to manually delete in "safe mode" also you just need to indentify the file.

Ive heard the same thing. Also had a neighbor who installed Norton, and has had nothing but problems ever since. Now her computer doesnt even recognize the hard drive
