Confirmation that Blakes truck DOES in fact exist...

Just wanted everyone here to know that I've been to Daves shop here in Sarasota several times (mines in there now) and each time I hereby attest to actually seeing a BLACK qc pickup.... minus a motor.... sitting at the shop under the name of Blake Wilder. :)
Hee hee... now that thats over I also will say I saw the engine at the machine shop.. being finished up it it looks like a SERIOUS piece of work. The billet caps are on correctly, the crank and pistons have been in and out and back in, etc. I think he's actually going to be running here any minute now. Geez dude I feel for ya, but I think your gonna be happy when u strap yourself in that beast and spank the loud pedal!:burnout:
I decided to go a little different route than Nowwhat..... to get similar results. I had the heads done to gain my Mike/slayer hp with the hopes of reducing my boost below my current levels. With the DC inlet tube, spraying before the intercooler, ported heads, I'm shooting for the magic 700rwhp number without going over... well see. Heads go on on monday. Tranny is out and the line pressure turned down a bit(hopefully no more rev/limit shift bump), and new 2500rpm stall will be put back in.
Ok Mikey, keep that crown close to a fed-ex station..... I'll take care of the shipping.......:D :D :p
 
Allright finally another serious contender....Mike has been getting cocky at the top, with no competition:D This might push him to actually go fast:rock:

Its fun though to resume the pissing match of "one uppin" each other in Mikes case also... after all when I left for the keys last march I was his brotha from anotha mutha.... but cant be again till I match or beat his timeslips.... so I gotta get my groove back on!:p

Just some more tuning bugs out, and sealing up some boost leaks... Since that run I went from 7 or 7.5 to 8 or 8.5 and boosting up quite a bit quicker too. The new mods being finished right now is worked over heads, 2500rpm stall converter (from 1500) drive shaft loop, Dc's intake system including spraying the meth in front of the paxton, and if the boost levels drop enough from the port job...... smaller pulley..... hee hee.
