Just wanted everyone here to know that I've been to Daves shop here in Sarasota several times (mines in there now) and each time I hereby attest to actually seeing a BLACK qc pickup.... minus a motor.... sitting at the shop under the name of Blake Wilder.
Hee hee... now that thats over I also will say I saw the engine at the machine shop.. being finished up it it looks like a SERIOUS piece of work. The billet caps are on correctly, the crank and pistons have been in and out and back in, etc. I think he's actually going to be running here any minute now. Geez dude I feel for ya, but I think your gonna be happy when u strap yourself in that beast and spank the loud pedal!:burnout:
I decided to go a little different route than Nowwhat..... to get similar results. I had the heads done to gain my Mike/slayer hp with the hopes of reducing my boost below my current levels. With the DC inlet tube, spraying before the intercooler, ported heads, I'm shooting for the magic 700rwhp number without going over... well see. Heads go on on monday. Tranny is out and the line pressure turned down a bit(hopefully no more rev/limit shift bump), and new 2500rpm stall will be put back in.
Ok Mikey, keep that crown close to a fed-ex station..... I'll take care of the shipping.......
