Considering Divorce - Truck Abuse

Hauling is why I have a Volvo Station Wagon.

You do know that its a known fact that the upholstery in all Volvo's, secrete a DNA altering oil that impacts a homo sapiens ability to achieve the speed limit. It can also impact a Volvo's driver ability to turn the vehicle without coming to a complete stop. :dontknow:

Just be careful and limit your exposure ;)

I just sold my house. As part of the move out process, I had to make multiple dump runs. Every one of them was made in the SRT. The dump operator was in shock. Like was already mentioned, that is why I bought this truck. If I only wanted a sporty car, I would have bought the Charger. But I needed a truck for hauling.

So I bought a truck to haul things and A$$.

:dito: I've had mine hauling my 28 foot Trailer for camping, and even today when I didn't have my truck it was such a PITA to go to hockey and shoving everything in the car..

glad to see i wasnt the only one who had to go to home depot this weekend, had to get some thompson;s water seal and some electrical stuff for the pool

I drove up to VT this weekend (500 miles each way) to clean out my ski house I just sold. It hurt, but I put 3 flexible flyer sleds, an old wooden tobogen, 2 snowboards, 3 pairs of snow shoes, 2 suit cases full of winter gear and still had room for 4 cases of Long Trail in the bed.

Every time we stoped, when I came back out of the rest stop, there were at least 2 people hanging out checking out the truck. You have to love a vehicle that can be so useful, fast, and attract attention.

Thompson's water seal is garbage....Wax based product's used for weather protection last maybe a year....especiallly on decks and fences. I would recommend that you use a product like CWF made by Flood company. Best product ever developed for weatherizing and sealing wood products. It penetrates the wood to the core. Thompson's and Minwax products stay on the surface and wear off quickly. Just a friendly Home Depot employee of the month tip free of charge :D
