A couple of months ago I got a set of Continental tires from tire rack. Well, they kick ass. Unlike the stock tires, there's no wider middle row of tread. The pattern is the same the whole way across the tire. The truck hooks up a little better, and it doesn't jump all over the road on uneven pavement, which was a big problem for me because the roads suck so bad here. They also grab MUCH better around corners.
Too early to say as far as longevity goes, but I love the way they handle. They look good too, although there's not really much difference at a glance from stock.
As for the stockers, they died a fun death up at the high school parking lot the night before I threw on the new Continentals. I should have had my wife video tape it. I was actually surprised at how well they stood up through about 5 nice, long brake stands.
