I really love corn on the cob. The season for it here is just about over, which is very sad news.

When you eat Corn on the cob, do you;

1. Eat it across, like a typewriter?

Or;

2. Eat it around, like a roll machine?

I prefer the roll method, while Alex and Will prefer the typewriter method.

Bill.

Because I am a former Iowan... Leave in husk, let sit in water for about 1hr let it get good and soaked, then put on BBQ over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes each side... you know each side is done when the husk area is SLIGHTLY black and crispy looking.

Then de-husk top to bottom, but not removing it, dip in melted butter can, put a small amount of salt, and eat. Using the husk as a handle.

NOTHING TASTES LIKE BBQed Corn!!!! :rock: :rock: :rock: :rock:

Both, what ever gets it in my gob faster. :D (More so the roll machine then I finish off eating the scraps on both ends).

LOL This thread is hardcase. :laugh:

Typewriter for sure. And yes, it has to be grilled, though I am one of those that prefer to grill it husk off. Got to be careful not to burn it, but if you do it right and get those sugars caramelized, mmmmmmm. I also make my own creamed corn using the grilled corn, as well as a killer black bean salsa, tortilla soup, all kinds of good stuff. Now I'm hungry!

i discovered "grilled" corn on the cob this summer. friggin awesome. with some garlic butter & fresh ground black pepper. throw in a 1 1/2 thick ribeye steak & DAM:rock::rock::rock:

in the husk is steamed corn
