Custom Duel Air Box Intake..

Great Idea . I don't think the headloss through the T is a big deal since its drawing from both sides. The filters should be the same so the drop is the same there. It max it can flow CFM wise would be the capacity of that oval tube anyways. What I would like to see however are those pipes made of some non conducting material. Maybe some thermoplastic or something because they have to heat up eventually and become little heat exchangers themselves.

I may have the metal ceramic coated..not sure..but will do some kind of insulation..

Dont really think thats the way. The material they use on the KN setup is the best. It's some type of cellular plastic ( has lots of air bubbles inside the material). These metal and powdercoated air tubes although look the best defeat the purpose. Even the stock setup DOESN'T use any metal tubes. They use rubber for the same reason:D

The problem with making the right stuff is you need access to injection moulding equipment

Where did your pictures go Larry?:dontknow: Did you get the pipe coated?

I cleaned up my photo bucket pictures....forgot if I moved the pictures they would disappear here...I will have more later...I am still working on this..........happy with the results so far....definitely lowered intake temps..

I missed the pics as well. You could hook up a vacuum gauge before the TB and see what differences you see between one airbox and two at full throttle......

Here is one...

Damn good job, most impressive air filtration system period. You did what Dodge should have.
