Custom headlights

Hey guys.

I've got a friend who made me some projector headlights for my Avenger and my CBR1000RR.

I'm having him retrofit some Acura TL-S Bi-level xenon projectors into a pair of new Ram headlights.

He needs to know something though.

Does out truck have CANBUS headlights? He says it takes a special harness to trick the computer like if your truck has a headlight out warning light.

Any help from the tech gurus is greatly appreciated.

As far as i know 2006 model have can bus, 04-05 regular bus.

I thought all had the CANBUS. With my 05's, if you didn't add a resistor inline with the HID harness to mimic the resistence of a halogen bulb, the computer would flip the ballast on and off rapidly.
