Custom Rods and Pistons?????

I have no idea either.

I only posted that after contacting several vendors. I do my best to support all of the vendors and spread the wealth. I invited Daniel to join the forum since he seems to have a great knowledge of our engines.

Someone else posted up a non-vendor, Daniel (final GTS), so I went the flow.

For a rod/piston combo, none of the vendors have been posting up on selling a complete package, however helpful nonetheless:
- Sean Roe (Dave Venski) said they could get hold of Carrillos for about 3300.
- Boomer also commented that the Carrillos are the best around and could acquire some. No price given. Mentioned Doneo install as an example.
- Patrick (Avondale) has the necessary gaskets for the engine pull, which I have a box of them (multiple purchases) from him sitting in the garage.

My truck is in pieces, I would love to have it put together with the proper parts within my budget. If I can help others; forum members and/or vendors at the same time, it would make my day.

If I upset a vendor, I apologize, not my intention.

GTS has the most complete package for us so far to date with the options we have at the table. I would understand if the thread was deleted due to GTS not being a supporting vendor. That thread was starting to develop some interest and if GTS was smart they would return with a supporting vendor status. We are talking about 12-25K deals on that thread so paying the small supporting vendor's fee would be peanuts compared to the business he could get here.

FSTJACK Pulled the post, sorry guys. Personally, I think he WAAAY overstepped his bounds on this one by deleting the whole thread, 90% of which had nothing to do with me, and wasnt started by me. I told him I was interested in becoming a supporting vendor, though at this exact moment the Rod/Piston post was irrellevant as it wasnt mine to begin with- my posting was requested. Rather than work something out with me, he just yanked everything. Sorry to sound arrogant on my and everyones behalf, but the time we spent making those posts was worth a HELL of a lot more than a fee for being a supporting member. The technical knowledge I can offer there forums is also worth a whole lot more than a petty fee- I am one of the few tuners who actually POSTS relevent information.

I question at this time whether I would still be a vendor of this forum. I have enough of this political & money hungry forum owner BS to deal with on all of the other forums I am on. Trust me, its not about the money at this point- I would rather take that same check and send it right to Bone instead. To say I get a little heated when it shows through that forums are more about the guys running it than the people on it is an understatement.

Regardless, the offers are all still open, we just cant do it here yet guys... or at least I cant post about it.

OCbob....did you get to read the threads we posted until 1 am last night...im not saying that FstJack was wrong to pull some posts from the thread but the whole thing??....i know the deal about becoming a vendor but there was alot of great info that was comunicated last night and i certainly learned alot. Like GTS said...he didnt come on this site and just start pawning his stuff...he was invited...besides after the rude comment you just posted towards him...i doubt he'll ever post here again...way to have the forums best interests in mind...thanks OCbob

I was only responding in kind. Let's see, he stated that Jack overstepped his bounds, which as the owner of the place he sets himself. He then made a veiled comment about the forum owners being greedy. That is an insult to a man that has stepped up and helped untold numbers of members on this forum.

Sorry that you lost some posts and lost some info, but I'll be damned if I let anyone talk about people I care about that way. And I believe that Jack explained the whole thing to you today in a PM, maybe you should have just left it at that.

I invited Daniel; he didn't just show up here to stir the pot. I'll take the blame not establishing a clear membership for him and trying to start a group buy with his products. Lesson learned.

Why don't we just start over from here? Trying to communicate effectively on email/electronically is not an easy task. Feelings get stepped on when there is no intention to do so. Thoughts get misconstrued; ribbing is sometimes seen as busting someone’s balls, voice inflection can not be measured, etc. etc.

I believe Daniel has much to offer to this forum. Does he have his own unique strong personality? Yes, and I know others do, so as myself….part of what makes this forum such a good and powerful tool.

I have some of the info saved on email.

So when Daniel and Jack work out the role of Daniel on this forum, we can start over.

After not hearing back from you, and what I gathered from the tone of your PM indicating that you were a struggling business. Hence via your non contact I assumed that you were not interested in becoming a vendor here.

From your latest post (with no personal contact as you indicated you would do in Pm) it is clear that is just about money and you do not want to be bothered with our "BS" here.

I am sure that you may be knowledgeable and somewhat helpful when it can benefit you sales wise.

We do however have a great deal of knowledge available on this Forum that does not come complete with sarcasm.

From what you indicated you could sell thousands of dollars worth of parts through the Forum per month. It amazes me that you would not be willing to spend $65.00-$85.00 per month for that level of potential sales, and also to support the Forum and the members.

Under the circumstances I do not think you fit our needs.

I am in the middle of planning out my rebuild and will be spending a lot of money. Money that GTS could have had and can still have. I as a forum member will not stand behind any vendor that will insult this forum or the owners of the forum no matter what your company has to offer. I understand you were invited and have been a very informative member that we can all learn from.

Let's take a couple of steps back and do the right thing and maybe we can work it all out. I was also responsible for asking GTS to work out a group buy along with Bone. I just thought we were working out details and therefore the supporting vendor status was not needed as of yet.:dontknow: Before any transactions were to commence then atthat point I would have thought the supporting vendor would have to be established. LESSON LEARNED AS WELL.

No I didnt. I asked that you get back to me with any possible options- you hadnt even given me a PRICE yet! What I find quite interesting is that my Private Messages have now disappeared, I cant even quote myself.

I didnt hear back from you. Struggling business? Hardly. Things have been growing exponentially around here, hence the new building being put up. Which by the way will be able to service the Ram SRT's as it will be much bigger.

Nice passive-aggressive stab there. How about the THOUSANDS of people I give free tech advise to on all of the Viper boards? I am the technical advisor of Ontario for a reason- because I like helping people out.

This is flat out BS- I said I would support you. But after seeing how you work, it is the principle at this point. You deleted a huge thread, with lots of information, rather than just censoring certain parts of it at most. (Which any business person should know should have been allowed to slide as long as there was work being done TOWARDS the vendor status.) I called you on it, and you didnt like it. End of story.
