D/R make the difference

Yesterday i was able to get in 11 runs at the local race track,
Evergreen Speedway in Monroe Wa.
My personal best of 1.859, 60' :rock:and trap speed of 66.5 at the end, not a full 1/8th mile.
1.192, 60' and trap speed of 73.6
top speed was 76.1 and a 2.068 60'

Can't wait for a full 1/4 mile.

I still have a set of M/H DR's that I bought and I never used. They are on 17" rims and only three passes on them. :dontknow:I guess one of these days if I ever build up the nerve to let her :burnout:run down the strip I'll put them on.

I brought them with me last year and :dontknow:look what happened.. Damn babied tranny took a dump before I could even get the DR's on. I'm wondering if those things are jinxed. I got that new tranny in now so I don't anticipate anything going wrong. Plus I hadn't driven her more than 500 miles since the new tranny and clutch was installed. Hell, her last oil change was last June. So that tells you she's been sitting up for a long time. After the fluid changes and stuff she'll be good to go. But we're bringing a trailer just in case.

what the hells a trap speed? Imma learner so school me with some knowledge please.

Trap speed is the speed you are going when you cross the laser (traps). It is in 1/8- 1/4 mile but some tracks are shorter than 1/8.
Trap speeds at the Texas Mile can be 240+. from a stand still to one mile. Time doesn't count, trap speed does

Question for ya....Do you have cal-tracs also ??? if not get them and really hook up better.

Bought mine from tony and love them.

This track is in Monroe Washington. 60' shy of 1/8 mile. Hoping for bigger new ownership.
