As they are pricing aluminum these days like there is a world shortage, I'd say 20+ grand for the bare block, if not more. To turn a solid chunk of high-grade material into an engine block takes expensive equipment, programming, time and know-how.Bet they cost a bomb
OUCH!!As they are pricing aluminum like there is a world shortage, I'd say 20+ grand for the bare block if not more.
Just a guesstimate...
Not to worry ,,mI have a very large collection of aluminum cans still hahahaha !As they are pricing aluminum these days like there is a world shortage, I'd say 20+ grand for the bare block, if not more.
Just a guesstimate based on big V8 billet blocks...
I could be quite low.
If you look closely on any Top-Fuel engine block, you can normally spot a beer label of some kind. Not to worry ,,mI have a very large collection of aluminum cans still hahahaha !
Budwiser not miller light hahahaIf you look closely on any Top-Fuel engine block, you can normally spot a beer label of some kind.
Only so much can be done to reinforce an o.e.m. block. Even then, it will quickly reach its limits.Makes me wonder if hes beefing up the block ,, Billet maybe ? With that kind of power something will need to be done !
Will the strikers really hold up to that kind of power ?
Are strikers rated for 3000 hp ?Only so much can be done to reinforce an o.e.m. block. Even then, it will quickly reach its limits.
Strikers and Striker-Rs are beefy and work well in their intended applications.
As in....will they be damaged???Are strikers rated for 3000 hp ?
I guess Dom will find out when done ! Fingers crossed it works perfect ..As in....will they be damaged???
They need to be able to produce/support that power level. Not so much an issue if they would survive..again, they are beefy and as long as they seal, the power will be there.
I would love to have those part numbers if the parts are still available somewhere. Thank you for your efforts.Comon guys, this is not the direction the club needs to go. i have a posts for part numbers for the rear bump stops in for rear end. Axle and slapper bar. it took me weeks of research. Chime in if your interested.
Alternator dead due to all the tranny fluid from the leaky PS lines. Lines replaced, dead Alt. Does anyone have a good PN so I can buy one from a part store? Autozone has one, just don't know if it's the right one.The way the site use to be ... keep um coming !
Do the online manuals have the partnumbers? Or here's oneAlternator dead due to all the tranny fluid from the leaky PS lines. Lines replaced, dead Alt. Does anyone have a good PN so I can buy one from a part store? Autozone has one, just don't know if it's the right one.

Geez, whouda thunk that a parts manual would list the part number!! Ingenious! hahahaThey do, in the "parts manual" lol
I checked Autozone last Friday, they quoted me $140. Just didn't feel like it's the right Alt, even though the guy showed me it was for the 8.3L, the price was lower than I was expecting.View attachment 69232
