Going to remove all Ram words and emblems. Couple question. Is a heat gun and fishing line the best way? What sort of adhesive reomver is recommended? What sort of double sided tape to put on Viper Fang logos? Does the removal leave a mark? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks guys.

Hey, i did the tailgate and the hood on mine... heat gun is the best way
but be careful not to use too much heat to quickly.. better to heat the
stuff up than to cook it just to get it off faster.. made that mistake with
the hood emblem... think paint ripples.... anyways, fishing line for the large
emblem on the tailgate will do fine nothing behind that.. however teh hood
emblem is different.. make sure you have something to cover that hole in
the front.. also, because it's somewhat valleyed behind the emblem i used
a pair of plyers to pull the emblem off... the fishing line didn't work for me
in the front.. i posted some pictures a while back i think if you search for
them you will find them :D  Good Luck M8!

Good advice so far.

I used 3M adhesive remover to get the tape residue off. It also works great for road tar. Much better than WD-40.

Silver,
Where did u get the 3M adh rmvr?

goo-off works well (its stronger than the goo-gone stuff) any auto parts store should have it.

On J.T.'s 06RC we cut the tabs off behind the badge on the hood. We then used a center punch from the rear after heating up the badge with a hair dryer and puched it out slowly. This worked out really good with no mess ups. Hope this helps.:dontknow:

You can get the 3M Adhesive Remover from Advance Auto. :burnout:

Actually, they came bent a little... :dontknow: (They were originally for the hood of a Viper). You will need to bend them a little more, if you want to use them. I hear it is a tedious process.... So, I would suggest just calling Justin at JDM and order his hood emblems. They are not the "real" thing, but they do look SWEET. :)

The OEM one's that I have in the pic (also ordered from Justin) are going on my doors.... when I get around to it. I actually had to flatten them out a little for that application. (It's easy to make them flat tho. ;) )
