Well f*ck!!!

Corteney's boss decided to have their Christmas Party that night. Unless I can get to Atlanta and back in time for the party, I probably wont be able to make it down . . . :(

I'm trying to get her to request that their party be Fri instead. . . ;) I doubt that will happen though.

What time is her party? If you leave the GTG by 3:00 you should have p[lenty of time to make it back.:dontknow:

All of the parking spots in front were taken by 0830, so if we want to do it as a group, get there early.

Getting there early may work out better (for me). :D

What time do you suggest we show up. As mentioned before, are some of the early folks allowed to reserve parking?

Right now only 3 showing.

I'm still a tentative - it's not looking so good though. :(

Corteney's Christmas Party is that night at some restaraunt downtown - but the "festivities" kick off earlier that day. Since UofTennessee beat Kentucky this past weekend they're all getting together beforehand to watch the SEC Championship Game somewhere then head to the restaraunt to commence drinking . . .

Larry, I'll have to take a raincheck on picking up those mids if I can't make it. Thanks brother. :)

Maybe we can meet up in Knoxville one Saturday before Christmas and I will bring the mids..you can buy me a burger and a beer...make that 2 beers..no, a pitcher of beer.....:dontknow: :) :D

Have fun at your son's party bud. I love me some bowling!

Deal! I'll be coming though Knoxville (early) on the 8th (That'll be my only "free" day" til after Christmas.) on my way to The Biltmore for the weekend. I'm not positive as to what time, I know it'll be fairly early. Possibly around lunchtime, probably earlier . . We can meet up then as I pass through or we may need to wait and meet up after Christmas. Corteney's parents will down from the 14th through 24th. :)

Are you going up I-40 to Asheville or I-81/I-26?...We could meet up in Johnson City if you want a burger and beer or you could come by my house...I live about 2 miles off I-26...Coming up 81/26 to Asheville will add about 20 minutes to your trip..

Sounds like a cancel then for the GTG.

I wouldn't go that far yet . . . :dontknow:

Jack, Chris, Ernie, the Atlanta people havn't chimed in yet . . . Plus there's the Hemi guys. . .

Sometimes things pull together at the last minute.

Well then, I am going to commit to my Cub Scout's participation in the Warner Robins Parade in the morning. Then show up at Summit in the afternoon.

I'm not sure I'll be going that far north/east.

Mapquest has me taking I40 to Asheville from Knoxville . . . Would it be easier to take I81/I26? It "seems" out of the way, but we both know that isn't always the case.

I-40 from Knoxville is the fastest way to Asheville.....I-40 intersects with I-81 about 20 miles North of Knoxville....If you take I-81 you will come to I-26 about 55 miles later....I-26 is a straight shot to Asheville...about a 50 minute drive.....Taking the 81/26 route will add about 20 minutes to your trip...not counting down time loading your mids...;)
