Detroit Locker and 35 Spline Strange axles Installed

Haha, to be honest I haven't even got to race or launch my truck on the new setup and it's still in the shop right now so anything can happen. The new stall in the truck gave me my best 60ft i've ever had and then I had to immediately let off, this was on the first pass half throttle... I'm definitely excited to see what it will do on the big end.

Drive Train Speciaties. Price on our trucks replacement rear is up to close to $4000.00. Hopefully this new one will save us some money.

Drive Train Specialists. They are here in Michigan. They have done work on my Duster, SRT-10, Dakota, and my 95 Ram 2500.

at this time I do not yet support the new axle, only reason is I have not talked to the person, do not know if he will accept liability, and do not also know how yet they will hold up, with the DTS axle setup it is more, but we have had no breakages as yet, and there customer service is excellent, the axle most likley also will be less, but not sure how much

this can and allways has been able to be done, but you have to understand one thing, it cannot be done in the back yard, you have to have the right setup, to get everything perfectly straihgt, and the welds have to be beyond perfect, and thats the reason I have stayed with the dts setup, its proven , it works and I have tothink about the liabilities, if I told one of you how to do this, and you did it, made a run down the road and forbid, but something happened , I am responsible, so I have to loook at all aspects and take all safety measures into consderation.

once I have talked with this person, and Jack has a few miles on his, and get more direct details we may consider offering them, but until then, I cannot, ya'lls safety is more important to me than saving a couple bucks

more than half the people here don't even need to worry about doing this setup.......

Although my truck is street only, I would like to find a way to put a Detroit Locker in my truck ( I just really like them) at a reasonable price. Since I won't be going to the track, I don't need all the good stuff.

Bill.
