Dial sweep/staging

I noticed yesterday that my truck did a cluster sweep at the gas station when I started it. At first I was like, did I just see that? So I tried it again and nothing. I remember a few cars ago I had a Chevy that did it, and it was cool. Was this just a random one time thing? I want it back!! lol

I've seen mine do it on occasion as well. Very rare occurrence but it did it. Maybe just a PCM protocol to do it every so many thousand miles or starts. My Vette does it every time though, lol.

Huh, guess so. I thought I was loosing it for a second there lol. I bet theres a simple little mod that could make it sweep everytime. Hopefully someone who knows how to mess with that kind of stuff will see this

Hold the trip mile reset button and turn the key on.
It should run a gauge/light check and calibration.
Not sure youd want to do that every time though.

Yes…I know. But like I was saying, I had a chevy that did it every time. Theres actually a lot of cars that do it every time. I happen to like it, especially at night.
