Differntial Fluid Questioin

when i get my 4.88's and cryo'd spiders installed i was looking at some redline fluid. anybody using redline? trans or diff.

thats about all i use, have for years in all my stuff, D4 in the tranny and 75w90 in the axle.
had about 4000 on the axle and changed it before I went to panama.......didnt need to , it was clean as a pin

Fluid for a QC. Manual states SAE 90. I have seen people use 75-90 which is recommended for other diffs not the DANA 60. Does this matter? Also the limited slip additive. Is it ok to use what you find in the auto parts store or should this be gotten from Mopar? Also see DIY posts indicating 4 oz of LSA manual states 5 oz. for DANA 60. Which is right for our rear end. We have a DANA 60 correct?

Thanks for any help on some clarification here.

Manual states 5 oz of limited slip additive for DANA 60, 4 oz with Trak Loc. (Other Diffs beside DANA 60)

Right, I looked at the same thing you listed above. The 248RBI is the Dana 60 rear., SAE90 recommended. What are you referencing in the first line?
