Fluid for a QC. Manual states SAE 90. I have seen people use 75-90 which is recommended for other diffs not the DANA 60. Does this matter? Also the limited slip additive. Is it ok to use what you find in the auto parts store or should this be gotten from Mopar? Also see DIY posts indicating 4 oz of LSA manual states 5 oz. for DANA 60. Which is right for our rear end. We have a DANA 60 correct?

Thanks for any help on some clarification here.

Info From Manual
248RBI - Mopar Gear & Axle Lubricant SAE 90 (DANA 60)
Manual states 5 oz of limited slip additive for DANA 60, 4 oz with Trak Loc. (Other Diffs beside DANA 60)

My 05 SRT-10 CD service manual says "C205FD Mopar Syn. gear lube 75-140"

REAR AXLE
² 9 1/4 - MoparT Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-140
² 10 1/2 AA - MoparT Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-90
² 10 1/2 AA EL- MoparT Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-90
² 11 1/2 AA - MoparT Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-90
² 248RBI - MoparT Gear & Axle Lubricant SAE 90
NOTE: Trac-LokT differentials require Limited Slip Additive in the lubricant. Trac-Riteâ„¢ / Trac-Rite ELâ„¢ differentials
DO NOT require Limited Slip Additive.

Right, I looked at the same thing you listed above. The 248RBI is the Dana 60 rear., SAE90 recommended. What are you referencing in the first line?

I am now not sure what lude to use......my 05 RC rear end tag says 9.25".
