Dodge Dealer Ratings

MOST NEW ZEALAND CHRYSLER DEALERS = SHIT.

There really isn't much more I can say other than I wouldn't take a push bike to some of our local Chrysler dealers. They charge huge costs on parts, I figured out early in life that I save 40%+ in most cases doing the hard work buying direct from the USA myself. There knowledge is crap and they don't know anything other than what you might see in a commercial. To be fair, Dodge/Chrysler is one of New Zealand's smallest and rare dealers/brands, so business is slow and the tech side has little experience, good at turning a wrench but that means jack shit when it comes to Viper engines and unique vehicles where experience is a greater factor. One of my local dealers recently closed down around 1 year ago. There is a new dealer again in my city which I've heard are very good. For work and help, it's up to me and the good folk of VTCOA, that's all the "dealership" I need right there. If I were in the USA, I would go to dealers more as they deal with the actual vehicles day in day out. Down here, some guys think an SRT/10 is V8 powered lol. All in all I think we have 5 Official Dodge/Chrysler Dealers in New Zealand so bugger all. If the new one didn't open I think the closest one to me is around a 6-7 hour drive up north. But, I'm happy doing it all myself with the help from the VTCOA. :) Good topic Roy. ;)

Friends, lets try to get the names of the Viper tech's. Just ask the service manager, usually they will have the Viper Tech come out to meet you.

If we can capture as many names of certified Viper Tech's as possible, we will be better positioned for future help if, something terrible happens to Chrysler...

Jeff at Safford Dodge, now Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep. Located in Springfield, VA just off the "new mixing bowl" (I95/495/395). Great service and he knows his stuff... Lustine Dodge in Woodbridge, VA, boo hiss - I wouldn't take a tricycle there.

Hanover Dodge in Hanover, PA  I went there to order a part once...I had to explain what an SRT 10 was.

Don White's Timonium Dodge in Timonium/Baltimore MD - stay away...far away. These guys will say anything to close a deal, but if it's not on paper don't expect them to live up to it. Removing the stripes from my Challenger was part of my deal...they are still there. I heard every excuse in the book about why it couldn't be done...a week after the deal was done.

ive had problems with every dodge in nj i dealt with weather looking ,buying ,or warrenty so many stories just dont have time to explain, just stay away from rt 66 automall.
