I almost forgot about this, it was so surreal:
So, I had to make a quick run the Autozone yesterday evening, and my truck was not "race ready". (I don't like to street race too much anyway) I didn't have my Stage II flash in, and only had 4 lugs on the front left wheel. (I know, not good, but there is a reason, and it was only about a 2 mile trip, under 50 MPH)
Anyway, on the way home I pull up to a stop light, and look over to my right and there is an L staring me down! I think to myself, "Not good! This clown is gonna at least want to see what you have, and you are in no shape to show him!" Well, we both take off normally, and he is still watching me. When we get to the next light, we both stop, first to the light, right next to each other... I look over, and he has this weird look on his face. So, turn the radio down, and just say, "Nice truck!" and give him a nod. He returns the compliment, and what he says next, blows my mind!!
He says, "Any other truck, and I would be jumping on a sprint to the next light with you, but I got schooled by one of those not too long ago, and the lesson is still too fresh!"
Needless to say, I was in shock!!
I just quickly asked him what mods he had, and he said a smaller pulley, and then the light turned green.
So, given the condition of my truck at that moment, and knowing that he had the smaller pulley, I prolly would have taken a beating, but since he conceded, does that count as a kill???
