Ok we originally wanted to do a laser cutout door sill for the drivers, and passenger doors.

we made 5 sets, a couple with different type finishes and tried them out for a bit.

Personally I am not a fan, too much dirt can get behind the sill , and eventually scratch the paint if you evr decide to remove them.

Plus we really cant offer personalization of them, jsut the program to do personalization takes a different program for each and every different style, so it would be very costly and take alot longer to provide.

but they look nice, and they show the color of the truck thru the lettering.

so we decided to do what we do on the rad covers, something simple and easy to change at a whims notice and shouldnt take long to provide custom deals.

but I decided to let you guys make the decision.

yes to keep producing them,

no the ones we have now are fine.

or simply offer both..

the laser cut ones are more expensive, but will be only offered on the fronts, and only with srt10

and no I am not ready to release pricing at the moment

i like the laser but i need all 4 and it says only front:(

we ARE gonna do rear sets for QC's naturally , but on the laser cut ones, I will have to see how the poll goes to see about laser cutting the rears,

give it time, and lets see what the customers say, If they say no, I will see about getting you one set custom cut

what I am trying to do is offer things that everyone can afford , if I make it too technical and too complicated then the price naturally goes up, that leaves only a few that can afford, I like evryone being able to afford.

I got your name on a set, I got 5 sets I think, but no rears as yet, but will def let you know by monday

i voted for not laser cut but i have something special in mind for what i want...lol you know me always got to be difficult. they are bad ass by the way:rock:

How have the decals held up to the door seal contacting them? Anybody use them in a warm environment? They look cool, thanks Stink!

I'd go with the decal if anything. I drive my truck daily, so crap would go through the laser cut one. But, If the decal won't survive the PHX heat, how about door #3???? :)

Ron Outnumbered on here has been the one to test everything for me , he dont live far away and with the clear and all which is very thick, so far no probs,

I will give him a shout tommorrow and see if he will post up how things have held up and how long he has had everything on, the radiator cover has been on a good while, the door sill I think about a week or so. but so far no problems

I have had a few that the hood scoop mounts have touched the radiator covers so the new instructions will include the adjustment, and we will fix any that touched for free.

But he dropped by today and let me see the sills after he has drove around with them and they look as good as the first day they left good sir

they are thickly cleared over the decal like the radiator covers, and I havent had any problems with those so far good sir, and they are getting subjected to the engine bay on top of the radiator with heat:)

Satin black please. Dont want no BS, like the black chrome. :D

My same thought. I have a JMB radiator cover that stuff gets caught in all the time and it is harder to get clean.

voted on the Viper Powered ones.

more eye catchin & there is no Viper power on the sides of the truck.

could ya do a Fangs decal on it????

Damnit Tony, I'm sure glad I'm on hold right now for placing my order, but one of these days you're gonna have to send a special truck just to my house.

After our conversation the other day, I really looking forward to the rest of the stuff you've got planned.

Santeen I will contact you on yours sir:)

but jsut got off the phone with outnumbered and gonna get him to make a post on how things are doing.

also keep up the ideas guys

Being the "test mule" for these parts, here's my $.02. The laser cut text was nice in that it allowed the color of the truck to show through. However, for those of you that really like to maintain your truck, you will go nuts trying to keep the inside of the those letters cleaned out! And when compared to the sill with the decal, the one with the cut letters just seems sort of blah. So in my opinion, the decal'd sill is the clear winner. But what I like most is that the grain of the stainless is running north/south on these parts. That way if you ever do scratch the clear coat, it will simply blend in.

No issues. You're never going to hurt these things with the amount of clear that's on them.

Tony suggested using 2 sided tape to hold the sill, but I wanted it to fit the truck like a glove, so I used a fairly soft putty to keep it in place. It literally looks like it is sitting on the door jam, and it won't come off unless I take it off.

Door Sills

HeyTony, can you do a set for a QC with the fangs emblem on each side of the SRT-10? An can you offer them illuminated in the color of the truck? I'm still have trouble finding someone to do this. Can you help me out?
