Alright, I know you guys must get this as well. Your at a stoplight and some tourist knows what you have and tries to run you.......doesnt matter if its a minivan, Grand Prix or Caddy......they floor it, squeel their tires and try to get you to run. I was coming home tonight and this Pontiac kept trying to get me to run. I would just give it enough to pull ahead then let off. But at the next stoplight he's spinning his tires and so I start off slow, then hit the gas, tires break free, shift into second and leave a huge burnout as I pull ahead then let off........he then keeps trying but I just laid back. Lots of cops on the road for the holidays.

They just want to see us run........bastards!!! LOL They got a good show as my tires were right at their open window when I shifted into second!!! haha Now that I'm home......Corona time!!

Patrick,
That sounds like something I might do to see you "get on it". I hope it scared his wife when you hit second, and he got yelled at for provoking the incident.

Almost every clown in a Mustang wants to race me. I've seen guys cut off other cars (almost causing accidents) just to get next to me at the light. WTF is up with those guys?!!?
I did, however, have some fun with a Cayman a while back. Finally- someone who can hang with the truck!

My favorite thing to do is get them all rev'd up (excuse the pun), high RPMs, power braking, tires about to break loose, waiting for the green light.........................
...............then dropping the RPMs and slowly easing out the clutch as they screech away in a blind fury.

Yeah buddy, you beat me.

Yeah what a bunch of doughdicks. I just got on it enough to pull ahead then let off. No way am I risking a ticket racing a fricken rental car!!!! It was fun spinning into second right at the window though. LOL

It's always a quandry when those "don't have a chance" wheels next to us want a show...and the risks are huge...as are the thrills. It's the ricers that really tempt me...and I have to admit I still have to comply with their wishes...it seems to get harder and harder to say no...you would think that at 63 my urges would be going the other way!

Thats the strange part around here ,you dont see many of our trucks but they either dont have a clue or are scared of it . I have never been prodded at a light or nuttin . I did have a new Stang pull up beside me the other week and rev it ,as I chuckled and looked around this guy is leaning over his girlfriend half out the pass window telling me what a badassed truck I got and should take care of it and not put lots o miles and on and on . Then goes yea I told my GF that truck would spank my ass .
Guess the only way I get to find out if I can still push a stick in the 1/4 is go up to the track ,it's been many years since I had to row .

I get it all the time on my sportbike - I still can't tell whether they think they actually have a chance, or they just want to see me go. My favorite is to just pace them. They're bouncing off the rev limiter and shifting as hard as they can, I have one hand on the throttle and the other resting on my leg, look over at them kinda bored, then pin it and pull 10 car lengths or so in the blink of an eye. Roll off and let them do the import fly-by. Good times.

Mike,

Once you know how to row :burnout: it comes back quick. Like riding a bicycle.

Be careful Patrick...Have you heard about the new speeding laws here?? Over 80mph or 30 over posted speed limit and you go to jail and fines and driving priviledges suspended...:(

Good thing I got pulled over on base...:D

Don't be too quick to take the Mustang bait cause where I live highly modded ones seem to be a dime a dozen and you would need a Paxton to stay in sight of them.
