Drag Radial or Slicks??

You ran pretty good on those 28" tall tires you tried in yourlast video, so I think 29.5" should work just fine. Unless you have some serious power I think the 32" full slick can cost you a little bit of time, just sayin'. Better 60' but will slow you down on the high end. But what do I know?:D
Better 60' and MPH on the 28" tires.....
Yeah but I was bangin the rev limiter too :(
Trust me Jerry, I pay attention to your times and variables for sure.

you gave the limiter a lil love tap at the end of the run, which means you were able to use the entire gear.....

Gonna do it o. The slicks and 22's although they are the same height within a few 1/10th of an inch.

I wish i would have known they had a 17 inch slick last year or i would have been running em. That is a bad ass price too. I looked all over for a pair of 17 inch slicks and couldnt find any anywhere.

you'll be more prone to breaking something with a full slick than a DR, so keep that in mind...

with the 390/40/17 MH DR i would pop the rev limiter at the top of the 8th, right as i was going through the lights... i never got a chance to run the 1/4 with it...

The tires Dom recommended will give you 109mph in 4th gear at 6,000 rpm using trainman's formula, as long as I did the math correctly. :D

Not true sir. Do you know how much these tires grow?

I don't know how much they grow. I just plugged the 28" measurement in and did not take into account for growth. A few more mph can be had at the top of 4th with the added tire growth. I was not saying he shouldn't get them based on my calculations, I think he will be fine with the limited number of performance mods he has. Those tires were a great find Dom, I plan on purchasing a set myself :D

Lets get a couple things straight right now.
I don't like your attitude

And I don't like all your math figures you keep throwing around like your some kind of Albert Einstein.

There is nothing you can do about it. It's just your face.

For the price they would be worth a shot.
I bet you could go 112 on the 1/4 mile. Which is faster then most will do he'll that's faster then some tt trucks hahaha

Our times slips do the talkin!!!
Sssnnnnnoooorrreeee

Actually I figure 110.56 mph for the factory redline of 6,050. Using 88" diameter for the calc. 60,000 divided by 4.56 times 88", divided by 12", divided by 5,280 feet, times 6.05 (6,050 rpm) = 110.56. But I think Dom is correct, there is some tire growth, so let's refigure using an inch of growth on the high end (so 29" tall). 29" times 3.1416= 91.1" diameter. 60,000 divided by 4.56= 13,157.89 times 91.1= 1,198,684.209 inches per hour (at 1,000 rpm) divided by 12" = 99,890.35 feet per hour (at 1,000 rpm) divided by 5,280 feet = 18.9186 mph (per 1,000 rpm in 4th gear) times 6.05 (for 6,050 rpm) = 114.46 mph. So the 28" tall slicks should be fine for basically stock SRT-10 with 4.56 gears.

Bam!!!! Ill buy a set when I get my other truck done.
