I-59 is a very long lonly road, nothing to look at, and no exit ramps, food, stops so on, only one little rest area:D

but dam!@3 you can haul ass on that road

Phone battery died on me and it doesn't work here AND I don't have long distance.

Maybe we could meet at Gander Mountain on Route 3 ? Can't miss it.

Or if you know the area, you can make a suggestion

Anyone carrying FRS or handheld CB radio's for truck to truck communication during the trip? Sure would beat having to dial phone numbers while driving.

Watch out for cops prior to exit 146 south on I-75, also right before Perry exit. They like to camp there, especially on weekends/holidays.

I do not know where that is. Where can you get on 95S @

I hate to do this but I must ask. Stinker and I were talking earlier today and he has just about convinced me to go to the GA GTG. So I started reading this post and after page 20 I have given up. Hotels have changed, people have changed, etc.

Anyway what I want to know is:

What time should I be there on Friday?
Anyone driven together through NC?
Is the Holiday Inn the place to stay?
Anyone need a roommate?
Are people still meeting at a particular place and then driven to GA?
And any other question I need to know seeing how I have never been to a GTG.

Thanks ahead for the help.Frank
