well, call me crazy, but I have to find out what this tire CAN DO for my truck.

Dunlop SP Sport MAXX 305/30-22 W speed rated with a UTQG of 240! OD is 29.3" Load rating should suffice.

Should lower my truck about 1.15 inches. Which by lowering the CG has got to help the handling.

Gearing is also going to be reduced.....about a 7.8% reduction....like going to 4.88's......should give more zip in the 1/4 mile. Cruising RPM's in top gear should only be raised about 100rpm. (man the .5 to 1 sixth gear is AWESOME!):rock:

I will be mounting them in mid-april, I will post pictures.

Question? Are our speedometers electronic or cable?

I went from the 4.10:1 to 4.56:1, and when I drove away from the shop the speedo-meter was right-on!

changing the gears will not affect speedo but changing the tire size will. you can change the revs per mile in the abs control module.

my new tires are somewhere between Northern Indiana and West Central Wisconsin! Hopefully I'll get them on Saturday!!!!!! Pics to follow!!!!!!
