I saw a post on another SRT10 forum where the owner bought adapters for his 2006 stock Dodge OEM stereo with NAV and 6 disc changer for adding Ipod. These adapters allowed him to retain all of the factory controls including the steering wheel buttons. I have a new 06 QC with the Nav radio and 6 disc changer as well. I am not wanting to add Ipod at this time because I don't own one but I am wanting to add my aftermarket flip down DVD player out of my old truck and use the factory steering controls and radio buttons as well and get away from FM modulation. Question is does anyone know of any stock or aftermarket adapters that will allow me to activate the aftermarket DVD player using the VES feature on my stock OEM radio just like the factory installed DVD system? It would be nice to use the VES along with the factory controls and not jack with an FM modulator. Thanks in advance!

See my update in the Sticky section about this. Also, if you want to be able to do video on your stock head unit, I'm happy with www.tvandnav2go.com. They've done conversions on my Dodge unit and my Dad's GMC and are quite helpful with quick turnaround.

Will this kit you mention do what I am trying to accomplish by allowing me to use my aftermarket flip down DVD and still use the factory head unit and VES? Do you know the part number?

Thanks!
