Alot have asked about the rods I use in the Turbo trucks here.

Dyers makes my rods, they are parabolics rated for 1500+hp. So if you are shooting for 1000 rear wheel. These are the best I have used. For Dyers to build a lower priced rod, it was not worth the time to build a 700hp rod when most guys are pushing that with the stock crack rods. (Amazing)

Be prepared to pay Oliver prices for the security. These rods are $2399 for the set. The Pistons I use are Ross Racing forged with taper pins for strength. I usually anodize and ceramic the pistons on high boost setups. The pistons run around $1300 and $1600 coated from Calico coatings. The factory forged crank compliments this well. There are more things to be done with the block, but that is how I forge the bottom ends here at KRC.

I have a head stud kit here to keep the top end together from ARP. It is $149.

so 3grand in rods and pistons...what else do you recommend to run a high boost setup ? I remember hearing something about valve springs?

marty do you have any vids of the turbo truck running or cruising around town? Nice pass by the way! What tires were you running?

~58 bucks for stock bearings from Patrick.

Those are a must and that is a great price. I thought they were around 400??
You can reuse the ARPs but not the stock Mopars.

Do you need to modify the crank or are these drop-ins? Does anything need to be done to the block?

dont forget billet mains.............and a good head gasket...................it will be over 10k do do a setup for higher hp

Yes there are more things to do with the block, I run FACTORY MLS head gaskets with my head stud kit. 19 psi and no detonation has zero issues.
