dyno'd the truck today

well, had the truck up at PSI motorsports today. Patrick (owner) is tuning...he ran into some hickups...at around 4500rpm the computer is pulling timing out and its dropping power and tq along with the AFR jumping up at the same time.. it made 532wrhp and 510tq after 11 pulls through out the day...tq is way down...and i dont know why..baseline was 505wrhp and 485tq. The SCT tune is makeing good increased HP but dont know why the tq is so low...should be in the 550-580tq (Blaine) range, dont you think...

any thoughts...maybe blaine can post a dyno sheet tomorrow and give yall a better look at the situation.

So which truck is it...the blown one or the N/A truck?
A couple of guesses- Too much timing to start with, not enough octane or both. Have you been using the truck or has it been sitting a while (poor fuel) ? When you say A/F jumps up is that richer or leaner? I am assuming leaner....
What was the air temp like during the pulls? Is it a loading Dyno (Mustang) you are using, Dynojet or something else? How did it act in 3rd and 4th compared to 5th and 6th? Can anyone hear it ping? What are the A/F numbers during the run? Have you made any recent changes?.............. Do you have any allergies?

those numbers and his comments( why would he mess with the tune on the 04) represent it being the 05 blown ... not the F/I... sorry I don't have any input as to why the numbers are low but atleast they went up :D
 
It's an '05 n/a with ported heads and a cam. The knock sensor sensitivity is to high I think patrick is figuring it out today...

did you go by the shop tpday zack? did patrick get any further with the tune....?
 
I went by but didn't stop in. I saw the still had your truck on the dyno...
