Dynoed the "rare03srt10"

OK, so if your truck has the PCM and steering column out of the same SRT10, then your Dodge guy should have no problem with it. Your Vin# is only good to he body now. As in DPS records and whatnot. As far as any tuning it would likely use the vin# of the donor vehicle to decode as an SRT10. If you are running the factory 5.9 steering column that DOES NOT communicate anti theft with the PCM then it would've have to have been turned off or the chip (key) pasted close to the module at all times? Sooooooooo..................................what did ya do?;):dontknow:

yeah i have the factory sport steering column which also had the imobilizer but with the srt10 pcm it didnt work so when i had the PCM flashed i had him turn that feature off....

Yup, then all you need is the donor vehicle vin# and he should be able to flash it stock. I just don't think the stock tune is your issue.:dontknow:

Do you think ill be able to figure out the donor vehicles vin based using the PCM? I have the VIN to the truck that the motor came out of but the PCM didnt come out of that same truck......I have a feeling the the PCM may not be the issue either but i just wanna have a better base to start with to help find the issue....the engine harness, the fusebox harness, the dash harness and the fuel pump/taillight harness have all been changed to 05 srt10, the engine is 05 srt10, the PCM is 05 srt10.....dont really know what else im missing here

sorry... I was thinking it was a stick trans... my bad for reading too quickly. Yes, 3rd gear, not 4th.

The Auto is indeed supposed to be dynoed in 3rd, the final drive or 1:1 ratio gear as in any auto with Tow/Haul off and TV linkage disconnected to prevent downshift on the dyno into 2nd under full throttle. All 6 speed manual are tested in 4th gear, the 1:1 final drive gear. 3 speed autos are done in 3rd.
Still need to visually check your fuel pressure Bud.

So ive tried doing some research on this and i still havent really found anything. Should i or shouldnt i disconnect the TV linkage while dynoing? From what i understand if i disconnect it i will not get the correct line pressure in my tranny.

Line pressure via the Throttle Valve simply controls line pressure for shift points. Hence why you can adjust this cable. Line pressure also designated when to downshift via the TV. Unless you wanna see 500ft lbs downshift on the rollers and possibly jump off, heed this warning. Reconnect BEFORE driving. That's when being disconnected can do damage.
