i have no issues with my OEM clutch, just about to turn 24k with many trips to the track. in fact I had it out a few weeks back doing the slave and it looked great.

I must have a lemon, can't get but about 8000 out of my rear tires?!

i hear ya on that. i am just changing at 16000 miles but 9000 of those are in the last 45 days and i havent laid a hole shot in those 45 days so i could get the last 9000 out of them.
