hey justin, I'm glad to see that you have 3rd gen emblems in yellow:rock:

I was wondering if you have them in the big size? (top row) I would need them flat and of course in yellow.. By the way, are these oem pieces that are painted or are they one off billet pieces? thanks

(2) big 3rd gen emblems in yellow:rock:

Got mine yesterday!!!.Old one was a P.I.A. to get off.Small scar where old one overlapped the lip.Justin, put some more tape on those bad boys!!
Two little pieces just dont cut it.Mine just does'nt seem to fit just perfect.
May end up taking it back off and trying some more tape.Where is a good place to get the GOOD douple sided tape?

PM sent, I use 3M "Very High Bond" tape and it only takes a small amount to hold the emblem very securely if the surface was clean (free of oils and old tape residue). Ive had to remove mine a bunch of times to fit up emblems and it is a PITA to get off every time!

Man, I tried to be soooooooo careful.Scared it up a little:( That som-bitch just did not want to come off.heated it up with hair dryer.Fishing line o so careful as to not gouge. Then bam off she comes.Take a look and small scar lower rt side.Looks like maybe it was under orig.Seems like it's got a very small lip that goes over the recess in the grill.I am going with that excuse!!
touched it up and off we go!!!

I was actually thinking about a little bit of a different approach. I was going to try drilling into the stock and the working from the center, out.. Use a screw driver to chip away any pieces. It will obvioulsy destroy the original, but I will stay away from the corners. Just drill slowly until you get far enough in, use larger and larger bits until you can just chip away the remains of the original. Then see what happens.

Worth a shot I guess :dontknow:

The 06 front emblem has rivet that goes though the back of the grill that you might want to use a cut of wheel on :dontknow: at least that is my plan then heat gun and push the emblem from the back side out:idea:

I will take pics of it as I do it and post them up. If it works that is.:)

Mask around the ram head, pop the chrome head off with a flathead. Drill a hole in the center of the black plastic backing. Run a screw into the hole and pull on it with some pliers. Worked well for me.
