Was driving, pony (stang) wanted some, and hit the rev limiter and all the sudden a krackling sound happened, sounded really bad. Sounded like Optimus prime trying to fuck a microwave. This JUST happened. 03 Termi Cobra. One of my fav cars actually. Problem was IMHO he got boost happy..dialed that wastegate a lil too high. But whateves, dude has a 360 so I doubt he even cares. Point of the story, I won. lol. I dont race or even drive my shit fast, so it felt good to kill a termi, with a baby seat and A/C lol.

Having said all that, total engine failure of this type is extremely rare. The more likely scenario was caused by overheating.

Thanks for evaluating the situation. Out of the thousands of possible issues, you have somehow narrowed it down to a coolant problem. This site, and the Cobra owner both owe you a great debt for your knowledge. By the way, welcome to the circus. :burnout: Ill put it like this, it might be a Cobra, but its a Ford. I spend about 10-12 hours a day fixing shit that Ford couldnt get right the first time. People are literally getting rich because Ford is such a shit vehicle. Also, I dont know if you actually read the original post……but he had his boost too high.

Pretty hard to understand isn't it, I have no idea if he was driving, someone else was driving, if this was a 10, but somehow I think a mustang was involved. Wtf is a 360 and how is it relevant, whatever a 360 even is?

A 360 is a Ferrari. It is relevant because it shows how much money the Cobra owner has and he'll probably drop a new engine in very soon, so he likely didnt even care about blowing his engine.
