Hello everyone!
I finally got my nylon braided oil cooler lines put in. Cost me $132 CAD for parts. So happy the stock junkers pieces of crap are out! >:O
I just got a question regarding engine shake/vibration. I don't know a whole lot about how V10's run, or if high performance engines are supposed to have some movement to them or not.
The engine mounts are still in good shape. Spark plugs still in good condition. Overall no feeling of engine loss but then again, I don't really know what it is supposed to feel like before. When I start it up, I hear the ticking noise and from what I've gathered it's "injector tick" or the lifters as I just did an oil change with 0w40 and K&N oil filter. Anyway... I don't think it's a misfire because I haven't got a code and the truck doesn't seem to have any symptoms... or so I think.
I'm going to get it scoped out or run a diagnostic OBD2 reader to find out. But I'll have to wait until after work tomorrow. So I'll ask my questions before-hand
Is it noticeable to have a misfire without a code? Normal for the engine to vibrate a little? I feel the movement (truck vibration) while inside. I gather shifter movement is normal for RWD vehicles also.
Still trying to go over from bottom to top as to what the previous owner did to the truck.
