The new budget of the Obama administration is going to raise the debt considerably. He is proposing a 3 Trillion dollar budget (not all of that is debt we do have some income!) At least, the war expenses will be in this budget...Bush funded the Iraqi war by using supplemental appropriations and never included the costs in the annual budget. (Over $600B total)

There is a huge spending bill in congress right now, that has over 8000 items that are termed "ear marks" for political purposes. The Obama administration says they are not going to veto it (it was a Bush administration action)...but that the new budget as proposed will not have ear marks, so says the administration...we will have to see if that in fact is the case.

Every man woman and child in this country owes nearly $34k and that is going to go up. Like it or not. That amount owed was less than $15k when Bush took office. It might well be over $40k per person in four or five years!

It should be noted that we are paying $1.2 billion a day...a day...on the national debt...it is the largest single line item in our expense budget...and it will be growing as we increase the debt...

Just the facts people...

Toss out the fork lift...get a huge crane!

The debt clock, that is a phukin trip, reminds of the doomsday clock, "17 min to midnight", cant help but thinkin, that the harsh reality is, they are related.

Well, why don't they just continue the printing and pay off the rest of our mortgages, credit cards, etc. Pretty soon we would be all paid off. ;)

the more money in rotation the higher the inflation....

Legalize Pot and let the government have all the profits...wouldn't that help pay off the deficit with-out raising taxes:D

Now if they could just deliver those pallets to my house:D
