Hey lads,

I have an Xmetal Gen-X shifter for sale with everything you see in the photos below (shifter, handle, ball and 4 x bolts. It's already had the "Begood" treatment which in this case failed to work. Excellent condition with around 2,000 miles on it. $230 US + $30 US shipping (NZPS/USPS Track & Trace) - $260 shipped. Awesome shifter that is no longer needed. ;)

Cheers,
Carl

$200 US shipped to the USA is the best I can do. Payment via PayPal.

Cheers!

Which is the newest Xmetal shifter? This gen X or what? Which one is the one Boomer was supposed to be getting a patent on? How well did it hit the 2nd to 3rd shift?
Can anyone else chime in on whether you go with the B&M or the Gen X. I am looking for one to hit 2 to 3 pretty much every time. Let me know.

Never missed 2nd to 3rd. Consensus is, either or is better than stock, you can't really lose either way. Please do your research as I don't want this thread turning into a topic about which shifter is "best". HEAPS of topics can be found by doing a search. This is the latest and last shifter by X-Metal.

For some it helps quieten down the "rattle" that aftermarket shifters make. It comes with the territory. Shorter shifters make more noise, not sure why. I tried it and it didn't work for me, others it did. Again, please do some searches and make sure you're happy with what you're buying. Before you ask, the rattle isn't excessive, sounds like a very quiet super charger whine from under the console. Put the CD on volume 10 and you won't even notice it.

Awaiting Payment - Will confirm once it's been sold once the deal has been finalized. :)
