I want to see who has a good set up and where I can get the most bang for the buck. I need some advice for what exhaust set up is going to be nice from headers to the chrome tips. Let me know what ya'll have for me. :dontknow:

I love my exhaust but if I had it to do over....remove all 4 cats...replace stock mufflers with Magnaflows.........if you do headers the Bassanis look badass and enhance the sound for about half of what long tubes cost....this is all JMHO...:) :dontknow: ..

IMHO one can't beat Belanger & Magnaflow. :burnout:  :burnout:

well you asked...IMO little gain with headers, coated my factory "headers" (after all just look at em'), mids with high flows (git rid of all four of the restrictive factory cats, plus no probs. with CEL's) and a magnaflow cat-back...sounds AWESOME!

So I should keep the stock headers, and just get the magnaflow cat-back, is there a MID PIPE that i need to purchase. I have seen Gibson or belanger headers and i seen the thread about bassani melting things. I just want to get more HP but keep the viper sound

Yes and no....just depends on who you talk to.....I think the middle ground is remove the cat or go hiflow for best HP and sound....headers if you have extra cash....Magnaflow catbacks are the most popular but others also sound great..

What's your budget on this:dontknow: I have the bassani's and have had no problems;) If you have a good muffler shop:dontknow: Some bassani's and a full custom exhaust (with magnaflow mufflers, no cats and some nice stainless tips)should cost ya 1600-1800;) That's about the same as just long tube headers:D

I don't have pictures of mine but that's what I've got done:rock: I have about $1600 in mine total:rock: It sounds awesome:rock:

Sounds like you'll have plenty left over:D Put the rest back for a SC'r later on;) You will really love the truck after the exhaust:rock: You won't want to listen to the radio:D

IMO..no HP gains over shorties, have your stock headers JET-HOT coated for about $400.00...lose some heat and they look nice.
