exhaust tip question ?

Ok, so now that I bought the new jetta for a daily driver, I wanted to finish blacking out the truck.

has anyone powdercoated exhaust tips before ?

I wanted to do mine black, I was going to tell my guy to leave like 2-3 inches bare for welding to the pipes.

along with the wiper arms, which have the white overspray paint on them, plus they are faded and kinda ashey white looking

had a neighbor who powder coated his black on a 454 Chevy truck....he had no problems that I know of

I always did a ebay search, but always found monster diesel tips. never any smaller sizes.

I had a Jetta for a rental car last week and was very impressed... How do you like it? What did ya get? Price? I was thinking its a good little car.

Just go to an auto parts store and buy some of the high temp spray paint and DIY. I did over 2 years ago and it's held up great.

Can Make them look like Carbon fiber too. ihavent done it yet but its supposed to hold up.
