Very nice! You are going to scare away your competition before you even get to race them lol

Sounds good, Keith!
Daytime is the best time to do a soundcheck. :D

I'm pretty happy with the wiring job that was done. TOTALLY concealed, with NO DRILLING. We did one little 3/8" slice in a plastic grommet....and done.
I don't want to throw my shoulder out patting myself on the back, but the wiring really did come out pretty damn nice. :)

I am a little bummed with my Access-A-Fuse fuses. They seem to be too brittle, even if you're uber-careful with them.
I'm going to have a little chat with the inventor and find out WTF can be done about that. They're cool, but I need reliable too.

For now, the cutout is hardwired to the battery. We'll make the adjustment to the fuse box another time. It's not a component that continually draws current, so it's fine like that for now.

Lastly, we'll cut the hole for the switch sometime this weekend and get it mounted and easily accessible.

Expect a DIY article from Keith on this one. :D

Kevin can/would you recommend a specific brand of cut out from your experience? This will be my next mod, and I will want to get it done when I pull my headers to have them Jet Coated this winter.

Jegs and summit both have kits with the 2 cutouts and 2 electric parts but i know there are other companies that other people have liked i will find them for you tonight when i get home from school

Thanks...I will pick it up as soon as I finish administering two Mid-Term Exams!

If you are one of my students, I will give you extra credit for providing the information!

Roy-
Keith has done more research on cutouts than I have.
I did, however find this cool little tidbit:

(you only need to watch the first 1.5 minutes)

Pretty slick!

Keith just left after we completed the installation of his control switch.
The only thing left to do is move the power from a direct-to-battery connection to one of the spare fuse slots in the fuse box.
Gotta save *something* for a rainy afternoon, right? :)

Here are a couple of pics to get folks ready for the DIY article:

The pannle with the switch is not all scratched up that is just the pic i dont know why it looks like that?:dontknow:

Very nice Keith. With the cutout open the tone is very aggresive and cammy sounding. I like it. Nice vids, thanks for sharing. You got a nice hot rod there dude............and a knack for being comfortable in front of the camera!!

Yeah...I'm not sure why the panel switch looks like that. It's probably just left over dust/lint/tape debris/swarf from when we trimmed the switch hole.
It's actually not scratched at all.
