Has anybody actually weighed the factory tonneau? I've never gone back and forth about something so much... I love the look of my tonneau but really want to put this truck on a diet. My only concern is, the truck already struggles for traction on street tires so is it worth it if I only get to the track a couple times a year? I don't want to have to take it on and off all the time... that's how scratches happen and right now its perfect.

This one I can't help you with, my truck didn't have one but best believe it would have been removed if it was there!!

If the average thickness is 1/4 inch over a 6'x6' area, then the weight of aluminum would be 126 lbs. I would bet that the average thickness is a little greater than this due to the skin/frame combination.

I purchased one a few months back. We moved it from truck to truck with a 4 man lift. I would guess that it was less than 50 lbs per person. But 60 lbs total seems pretty light. My guess is closer to 150-180 lbs.

Could have sworn I read that it was only 60 lbs, but searching on here says between 100-150 lbs.

I sold mine and when we removed it I guessed around 150 or so but I didn't actually weigh it

Depends if you have extra "cargo" on it too...

I can't believe nobody has actually weighed one of these! Although I really dought its only 60lbs, if it's not over 100lbs I would be shocked!

The tailgate is 60 lbs, but the tonneau should be more than that

It looked good on the your truck stink, you wouldn't want to sell your wing would ya

The red ones weighs 105 the silver ones 110 the yellow 115 the black one 95 that's why black is the fastest color :D
