Factory Tonneau Weight?

Has anybody actually weighed the factory tonneau? I've never gone back and forth about something so much... I love the look of my tonneau but really want to put this truck on a diet. My only concern is, the truck already struggles for traction on street tires so is it worth it if I only get to the track a couple times a year? I don't want to have to take it on and off all the time... that's how scratches happen and right now its perfect.

I think it's been said to weigh 60lbs.

If the average thickness is 1/4 inch over a 6'x6' area, then the weight of aluminum would be 126 lbs. I would bet that the average thickness is a little greater than this due to the skin/frame combination.

I purchased one a few months back. We moved it from truck to truck with a 4 man lift. I would guess that it was less than 50 lbs per person. But 60 lbs total seems pretty light. My guess is closer to 150-180 lbs.

I sold mine and when we removed it I guessed around 150 or so but I didn't actually weigh it

The tailgate is 60 lbs, but the tonneau should be more than that

I will say it's heavy, at least 100lbs.

The red ones weighs 105 the silver ones 110 the yellow 115 the black one 95 that's why black is the fastest color

I realize bro, but thats probably as accurate as the rest of our guesses. I was trying to establish an exact weight.
