I had a fun weekend at The Texas Mile, new record was set @ 278+ by Patrick O'Gorman, a nitrous vette went up in flames, and a Wrx thought he was cleared for takeoff. No one was hurt, and I got about 5 runs in each day. I drove a couple of vipers and ended up with a best of 177.3(148.1) half mile) in a 08' and 168.4(153.0 half mile) in a '05 with a Paxton. The '08 was behind 5 mph at the half mile and still managed to pull the '05 by 10mph at the mile marker.

Had a ton of fun, hope have my truck ready for march...

Congrats brother! I know its not the vehicle you wanted to be out there in but awesome you had backup!

Congrats! That does sound like a fun method of stress relief.

Congrats, Zach! How fast are you hoping to go in our truck?
178.4, I wanted to out run the '08. Truthfully that car would have only ran 175 if I didnt make a pass, so 175.1 would have worked in my truck.

What all was done to the '08 Viper??:dontknow:

All the mopar goodies, headers+exaust pcm and intake 3.55 gears. I think the '05 was getting to hot by the 1/2 mile mark, the paxton intercooler is tiny.
