Had a blast today with Mike(Nowwhat), Brad(SRTBrad)and AWDIzuzu). Air was good , starting line OK, no wind at all (I was hoping for a little tailwind!!). And of course Wifey was a no show, so the showdown of the sexes will have to wait. I made four runs today and beat my personal best of 12.64. I went...12.762 @ 108.87, 12.589 @ 109.62, 12.732 @ 107.50 and the final run of the day>>>> 12.496 @ 110.55 !!!!!!! Here's the breakdown: 60'=1.860, 330'=5.220,1/8 mile=8.011, 1000'=10.454, 1/4 mile=12.496!!
1/8 mph = 90.32, 1/4 mph = 110.55. Needless to say I was very pleased . I hopefully recaptured the top spot on our timeslip suvey for a N/A truck. My mods are as follows:MoFo headers, Magnaflow exhaust, Race cats, DC Tune ( Thanks Chris), Volant Ram Air, 170 Therm, 4.56 gears, Fidanza flywheel, Centerforce clutch, Viper Slave and Master, XMetal Gen IV Shifter, Hurst Line Loc, M&H 390-40-17 Drag Radial. 2004 RC. SRTBrad will be posting Video later.

I leave at 3000RPM, slide the clutch with no bog and no wheelspin, results in a 1.875 and 1.860 60' on the 12.58 and 12.49 runs respectively. If I try 3500 RPM then I break loose and the result is a 1.96 60' and I ran 12.76 and 12.73 respectively. I will let the others post times as I don't remember exactly. I did drive SRTBrad's RC one run on street tires and I think I ran 13.54 @ 104.5....not bad.

WTG Jerry.

You are the man in NA RCs. Your driving and your combination works well.
Keep the #s doing down, there might be a 12.40 or better in your future at Sacramento.

Congrats to all you guys that made it to Famoso today. It sounds like it was another fun day for all that were there.

I had planned to go but I tore a muscle in my right arm wednesday night. I can't drive anything but the Ranger right now and it is hard to do and painful. Can't use my right arm at all. I see the otrhopedist Tuesday morning.

Got me beat!

I went 12.66 @ 111 when I owned mine. I had similar mods except I still ran stock Clutch/Flywheel/Slave/Master Cylinder, and I ran on stock tires (Though our track STICKS!!)

Man, I did not need that rude awakening this early in the morning...someone warn Boomer, he might start to retch and re-break his ribs!

Thanks Patrick, Thanks Mike and Brad. Actually the third run of the day I shortshifted @5,500 RPM rather than 6,000 and the only increment that was quicker was between the 1/8 mile and 1,000'. So on the my record run of 12.49 , I shifted @ 6,000 from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3, then on the 3 to 4 shift I tried 5,600 and I think that helped with the best ET for me and the MPH breaking 110 for the first time in my truck (110.55 MPH) !!!

Looks like you guys had a blast, congrats on all the times. Love the factory slicks on the black QC lol, was wondering how the hell he launches so hard with the stock rims/tires and runs a 12.11.

I think it is strange that a shampoo man has no hair to shampoo...on purpose!

Nice Observation Roy....for a guy that makes tons of money using shampoo....you would think he'd get a better haircut!;):p:p:p:nurse::elefant:

very impressive train man! you must have tons of torque with the .456's and 390's! are you letting up on the gas at all between your shifts or keeping it to the floor board? Nice Job!!
